Dr. Dean Wang is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who is the Chief of the Sports Medicine Division and Vice Chair of Clinical Research at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He is the Head Team Orthopaedic Physician for UCI Athletics and Concordia-Irvine Athletics. As a NIH-funded surgeon-scientist, his specific research interests include novel procedures for cartilage repair in the knee and hip, biologic therapies for musculoskeletal soft tissue repair, and knee biomechanics.
